2001SE7 4.0 are the oil pan bolts a special thread or can they be bought at a local hardware store? I misplaced 3 bolts somewhere and believe they were swept out the door. Also The rubber "Plugs" on the rear of the oil pan that cover the torque convertor access are they available. Mine are all swelled and torn. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Like most things on the Rover, will most likely be metric, pull out one of the remaining bolts to take with you. Some auto parts stores have this sort of thing as well (people with BMWs drop bolts, too).

Funny I still think they put way to many bolts in anyway........LOL
Are folks typically using a thread locker on the oil pan bolts? I didn't when I replaced, but looks like they may have previously at the factory....worst case scenario, I can pull them out and put thread locker on them one at a time...
I dont remember seeing it in the RAVE

Yes I did Also doint the "O" rings on the cooler lines too ...any thoughts on the convertor access hole plugs??
My thoughts on those plugs: If they are intact, and in place, leave them as they are. Chances are, if you remove them, you are never going to get them back in place, because they have probably swelled several millimeters in diameter due to oil leaks. New plugs can be had from the dealer at the cost of about $12 each (from memory)
Wouldn't the bolts be SAE given the block is a 1960's GM reject?
