Just got analysis paralysis searching here on plugs. Just really looking to see what you are running and what you think. I have the Bosch Plat +4 plugs in there now, and they have around 30K on them. Those are 30K miles filled with cleaning stuff out, etc, and I want to throw some new ones in there.
Choices:
Bosch Iridium: $4.99 after rebate (I think I run those in my S4)
Autolite Platinum: $2.99
NGK Platinum: $2.99
Bosch Platinum Plus: $1.99 after rebate
Any opinions? Only thing I don't want to roll with are the copper ones. For the few bucks I would save overall I think the platinum is the lowest level I would go with (and I think those were OEM, right?).

Same temps, no change. I'm tired of chasing it. She always ran fine, and it just seems that everything I do just leads to other stuff. She never overheated on me once, I don't lose coolant and everything I have done has really been preventive I suppose. I just now need to find that vacuum leak (or whatever it is) and be done with it.

in my opinion and in my 15+ years of experience of tinkering with cars, motorcycles etc. NGK make the best spark plugs in the industry. NGK iridiums can be found in every vehicle i own.
my ducati runs a pair of race iridiums, the same the superbike teams ran. $40 a piece. that is how much i love the products NGK produce.
luckily the plugs for our rovers are more like $7 a piece

Just to throw out another option to confuse you: I replaced the (probably) OEM champions at 85k miles, with Denso iridiums, and now am at 110k miles with STI 7mm wires (on it when I bought it) and have had no problems whatsoever.

Reason: grammar
Yeah I agree the whole plug thing is a massive headache......................
I bought sti wires last week that are still sitting in the garage I am on the fence about plugs, I want ones that run good don't have to be hi performance the truck would hurt itself trying to get out of its own way. Just good clean reliable and solid.

I know what you mean about confusing..... I've seen lots of folks recommending the Platinum +4's on here, so that's what I picked up today... Hoping this and my new Magnacore 8mm's solve my misfire issue that cropped up on my new beach cruiser.

+1 to sloppyjoes response. You will obviously get various opinions. Based on my experience NGK's are the way to go. I run them in everything I own because they have never let me down. I cannot say the same for Bosch products.
