the previous owner did the rear coil spring switch, from the bags. what needs to be done with the SLS sensor(s) after that is done? I also just got my delphi scanner thingy working, how do I reset to springs from air bags? any help appreciated...

If you can do it with that, it will be in chassis on options.

Show up at your local dealer 10 minutes before they open with a dozen donuts, the mechanic will usually take pity and clear it for you in about 30 seconds.

Of course if you are feeling really philanthropic you can pay to fly me to the US and I'll also fix it for free for you I'm big hearted and ever so ever so generous like that

Sorry, didn't tell you how. Unplug the sensors and remove them both, unplug the compressor (below the drivers side seat and bolted to the chassis) and tape up all the plugs. Go into the SLABS ECU and the BCU via the OBD2 plug with a read/write diagnostic tool and disable the SLS links and hopefully, if you are lucky, there should remain the ABS and TC but the SLS will be disabled as non functional. If unsure get a friendly mechanic at your local LR indy to do it as WNYErikDiscoII;507213 says ...................... but FFS don't forget to take the donuts

ORF- very kind of you to offer your help. unfortunately, the finances aren't such that I can fly in a mechanic for help with the truck. but the rest of your post is appreciated, especially the FFS- we don't hear that enough these days.

cheers.

The Autocom can do really cool things, but nothing with suspension or chassis that I have yet seen. I got impatient waiting to do the ISS scan for all systems and canceled it. In the program there is a list of all vehicles it supports, and what all it can do on each vehicle, and since there is nothing about suspension or chassis in that list, I suspect it cannot.
