Default Roof Rack Inquiry

Hello fellow Disco drivers. I've recently started a project that will soon turn my daily commute Landrover into a head turning offroad car. I've been looking into LED Lightbars and ive run into a problem. I want to attach a lightbar or even two bars to the top of my rig but i want to attach them to a roof rack specifically the rack you can find on the RoversNorth website. I like the way it looks but I'm unaware as to how wide it is. I would like to buy 50" lightbars but im not sure they would be too big. Is there anyone out there who already has this rack that could tell me how wide it is(driver side to pa side)?

Also this is my first post and surely not to be my last. Please don't be too rough on a new member

That's the standard SD rack that a lot of D2s came with, as well as the original item that voyager knocked off. 50" will work well, but you need to make brackets as the center portion raises up. Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting links to our website

im hopping on this bandwagon to because im getting an ironman4x4 led light bar for my truck and im thinking about doing the same thing. Any instructions on fitting would be great.

Alternatively the light bar could be mounted on a brush bar perhaps? Im considering one of the other.

my 2 cents.....go china cheap on the bar. I have spent a small fortune on rigid and a couple bucks on china.... no more durability was found from either and they shine the same......and break the same.

Agreed, no need to buy a name brand unless money isn't an issue and you're going with Rigid. Ironman is just selling the same Chinese stuff you could get from alibaba or amazon/ebay places.

I had the impression that Ironman4x4 was an Ausie company that made their parts.

They may make a few things, but a lot of their stuff is just made in China. Not to say it's any worse than ARB's stuff that's also made in China.

Zack is correct, from my understanding. I'm with them on this oddly I'd just pick up the cheap stuff.

I've found some pretty good deals on LED and HID stuff here and they are quick to get stuff to you.
