Default seat covers... better than Cabelas?

I've read the seat cover discussions and went to Canelas last week to look at theirs and just wasn't impressed with the fit. Maybe I picky. Probably. Anyway, has there been any new success with any seat covers other than the Cabelas trail gear (if I'm remembering the name right) bucket seat covers?

I'm in a 2000 Disco II.

I have a full set of 03 seats... all three rows!... in the garage and they are perfect except they are vinyl and, of course, the driver seat has a gash.

When I first got my 03 there was a big tear in the drivers seat and I got it reupholstered (just the *** part) for cheap, like $70 bucks or something. I've never been a fan if seat covers, they never fit just right. I'd check on something like that.

I have the Cabelas covers. Initially they fit like crap. But there is so much adjustment that they tighten up a fit pretty well. They fit better than some AllMakes covers I had that were supposed to be Land Rover Disco specific.
There are other covers specifically for Rovers but you can probably buy new seats for what the covers cost.

I appreciate that input. Maybe I'll wait for Cabelas to go on sale. The only bad spot is where is scoot in and out of the driver's seat and, like anything else, it bugs me more and more since I noticed it.

I found a seat bottom on ebay (cover only... genuine) and while I typically go to great lengths to avoid demonstrating my ignorance in writing.... I have leather and it looks khaki to me. The vinyl ones in my garage are much lighter. Do I have tan, alpaca, beige... WTF™ do I have in my truck that I've owned for sixteen years this October? Lord.

Why can't they be brown, blue, white, red... I've never seen an alpaca. Is an alpaca like a possum?! Why don't they offer platypus, dingo, and unicorn colored seats?!

Okay maybe I've seen an alpaca but it was more than one color.

I think, and I could be wrong, but I think that the 03-04 tan color was lighter than the 99-02 tan color.
