Default She is back!

Well it has been a long 10 months since I sent my Rover to get a new engine and finally she has returned. Steven Johnson at Cannibal V8 installed and built the engine. Now I have all the power.

Now I have a lot of work to do. I have acquired many parts that need to be installed. Winches, lights, T-case shifter, CB radio, Hi lift jack, rocksliders, diff guards, skid pans, rear bumper, limb risers, oil pressure and temp senor, coolant temp sensor and new brakes.

The difficult part is that all I want to do is offroad...

Looks slick, man. Do you have the specs on the engine?

I love the ARB. I wish they weren't so darned expensive.

I just got my own back from ~3.25 months of work and I thought that was tough. I don't know if I could last 10 of them.

Yeah this week at work has been murder, I should have planned vacation around this.

The arb bumper is really nice, I got my rover with the arb for about the same price as a new bumper.

Engine is just the standard 4.6 with upgraded cam and slightly increased compression. It's actually quite an improvement over the old engine.

And yes rawhide is appropriate for where I offroad.

Well when you have 10 months of sitting around, not spending 300 bucks a month on gas and watching camel trophy videos all those accessories are easy to get. Now it's just a matter of installing them.

As far as why it took so long...I'm not really sure. I was just going to order the long block and do it myself but Steven persuaded me to use his "signature turn key" install. He was very personable but he did take his sweet *** time.

Winch is mounted, I'll upload more pictures and how I did it when I have more time.
