Default She's stuttering and rumbling around, throwing P0304 and P0307, plus coolant loss.

So my DII started stuttering, and rumbling on cold starts, and even when warm. Sounds like a diesel when idling now. Temps spiked from 190 to 237, then immediately back down.. Filled the reservoir and bled the system, and it's back down to 188-195.

Throwing codes P0304 and P0307, and I can see coolant trickling from the left rear (behind cylinder 8) ... I swapped plugs, but nothing improved. Next "wishful thinking" steps are to replace Magnecors, O2 Sensors, and hope that works.

Think it's more likely to be a block or HG issue if it's throwing P0304.

My question is, is there any kind of sealant that I could use as a patch job to get me through the next two months until she heads to the graveyard?

Also, what would a 2002 D2 SE7 with 138,000 miles and otherwise in good shape fetch at a Rover shop for parts?

Thanks,
Nathan

$500 would probably be about what you could get

If your disco can run 20 mins without over heating i would try Advanced Auto, Autozone, or Walmart if any are near you they sell a product called Bar's stop leak, they have a variety of sealants made for all types of leaks i would find the bottle that best suits your issue. I have used it on my 01 Disco 2 and it has lasted me a awhile actually i had a small leak, like every other week id find my self adding coolant. A friend of mine who works for Bosch services recommended it to me i was skeptical at first but used it, it may take two treatments to stop the leak if it isn't severe ive used two bottles so far and the first was in May then i drove it around for a few months and felt like it was leaking again so i added another bottle in july and i haven't had any more trouble since then (knock on wood). I plan on getting my issue fixed during the summer so i would not call this a permanent fix but just something to help you out until you send her away. I hope this helps a little.

Also i was having similar problems my service engine soon light came on and it felt like she was sluggish and stuttering alot even when warm, when she idled the engine shook a tad bit not severe but enough to notice she was not herself. I swapped out my spark plug and wire following a missfire on cylinder 7 hoping it would fix the issue but it did not i took her to a friends house and had him run some test to see if it was a vac leak or something of that nature and it turned out to be my Ignition coil. i took it to the nearest shop because im a puss and its just too cold for me to be out there in 0 degree weather and had them change it overall it ran me about $370 but she is firing on all and up and running again which is good because i just got a job interview.
