Rear seat issue not returning to position
Hey there, I have a rear seat issue in my 1999 Disco II.
I was checking all of the seats for fold-forward capibility and the RH rear seat is stuck between folded and normal. I pull up on the handle, but it will not release it in either direction.
Where do I need to get at to manually release this so I can roll forward and then reseat in the normal position. Do I take the back of the seat off, or other?
Thank you for any help with this!
BTW...Is there something I need to be lubricating when I get at it? What do I use to lubricate with?
Thanks again

I am not sure exactly which seat you mean, are you talking about the rear jumpseat? Or the middle right hand side seat? If it is the jumpseat, check out this link, it shows you how to lubricate the seat slider:

Hey there, it is the middle, I don't have the jump seats. I was able to get it back into position, but it definitely needs lubrication on the mechanism. I'll check out the link, I am always looking for lube suggestions for this vehicle, anything out there that does not smell like petrolium?
