So, I locked myself INSIDE my truck
Gotta say, that's a first. My keyless entry, which I just got working again, decided to go haywire on me today. The lock button on the key works, but the unlock doesn't. New batteries in the key, also.
So, I get out of the store with my ice cream, truck don't unlock. I manually unlock it, then hit the lock button on the fob, and the truck locks. Manually unlock it again, get in the truck, and test the center lock/unlock button. It does not work. Hit the lock button on the fob, and all the doors lock. Hit the unlock button on the fob, and nothing. Center lock button, nothing. Turn the key in the ignition, alarm goes off. hit the lock button on the fob, and the alarm turns off.
Ok, so now, all the door are locked, and I can't manually unlock them from the inside, and it's heating up inside the truck. Don't want my ice cream to melt, and can't think of a good way to call for help and tell them I'm locked inside my truck.
LUCKILY, I can turn the key and get the windows to roll down, reach outside, and manually unlock the door. Now, I just need to figure out what the heck went wrong. Still need to test the other key to see if it works.
Ice cream, milk, and yogurt are safely home without melting.

Yes you can probably solder it back. There were some kits on ebay for about $10 at one time. Included a new shell, blade, 2 batteries, and 4 solder-on buttons. I bought one of the kits and soldered a new button on mine. I also needed the new shell.
