Just for reference, I paid $5,800 for my 01 in October of 2011 and it had 58,800 miles on it then.

Bit like my old '82 RR Classis 3.5, owned by an old boy who was a butcher and only used it to take his pals shooting game. A couple of months after buying it new (the original purchase receipt was still in the glove locker) he dropped dead from a heart attack or something. There was only 2,000 miles on the clock and it was as new a year later when his estate was liquidated and everything sold by the solicitors. I had acquired a newish RR 3.5 a year old and only 2K miles on the clock for 2/3rds the original price - bargain. My wife drove it for 10 years and we sold it on for peanuts. now it's worth a fortune.

paid 4k for my 125k, March 01' CDL Ready SE D2, no secondary air system on engine, head gaskets done, no oil leaks. A really shiny and clean garage queen!

Now it has 3" of lift, and mud tires = 1,450.00
PM work = 300.00 so far...
Still more projects to do cause I'm really picky about my rigs.

Some people out there just drive um till they brake...As a matter of fact, we went and took a look at a Disco last night at a car lot down the road from our house...The verdict = 02' SE, 96k, alot of small body damage, broken lower plastic trim all over it, paint damage in some areas, oily underneath, no history of work performed on rig.....$9,900....caugh then laugh. Of coarse the salesmen said "clean one owner".

Looks good and sounds good although a base model. Bit pricey for the age but would make someone a good tarmac run around buggy. Too expensive though to tear apart for an offroader.
