Anybody have any pics of where the hose from the throttle body goes down into the block? I cannot see down in there, looks like it just goes down in the the black hole. I have seen the sketches, but wondering what all has to come off to get to the inlet where the hose attaches to remove/replace the that short little hose coming from the throttle body?

Had slow coolant leak - throttle body heater was culprit
I had a troublesome slow leak that caused me to add a couple hundred milliliters of coolant to the expansion tank every other week or so. Although I would occasionally see some drippings in the driveway, there wasn't much to go on - definitely no smoking gun. The other day when I got out of the truck, I noticed steam curling from the hood close to the driver's side door. When I lifted the hood, it was plain to see that coolant was leaking from the area of the throttle body heater. I think the leak finally opened up enough to be evident - even at that, only two or three drops a minute were falling onto the valve cover and/or manifold.
Ordered the kit and replaced - took me about 45 minutes after having reviewed the excellent write-up. I did not remove the throttle body. Interestingly, my throttle body heater and gasket appeared to be in good shape (nowhere near as trashed as the example in the write-up). Just goes to show that even the slightest damage or defect to a gasket or seating surface can result in a significant leak.

Broken nozzle going into block
I was changing the throttle body heater pacl and while pushing the OLD and BRITTLE hose that goes into from the pacl to the block the whole thing borke off. After cutting open the hose, yup, the rusted nozzle (nipple) was still inside.
So ANY SUGGESTIONS as to how to deal with a hole dissapearing into the block? If I put sealent and a bolt and completley shutt off this coolant looop, will I cause huge problems?
Any thoughts welcome. Thanks to whoever was putting water in here instead of coolant.
