Tips on replacing downpipe to manifold gasket and bolts
So several months ago I was attempting drop the exhaust to replace a crank sensor and ended up breaking one of the manifold to downpipe bolts (is that called the collector?). I forgot dropping the exhaust and got the job done then, but now I have a really annoying ticking.
Advice? Will I have to pull the entire manifold on that side? Has anyone had any luck drilling/tapping downpipe bolts while the manifold is still on the engine?

Depends what is leaking and where. Spray all the nuts and bolts with PB Blaster or WD-40 the night before you want to remove and replace the bad gaskets and you should be fine.

Thanks Mike. Any feedback on how best to get the broken bolt out? Heard in another thread that it's nigh to impossible to drill/tap without taking the entire manifold off the truck...
HOPING that's not the case.
