With a nanocom or hawkeye I'm guessing?

I guess I need to put in an order for one of those with Santa.

In all honesty RicketyTick I've never tried or researched this. As already stated, I reckon you may be able to reprogram the security ECU (I believe it's actually the BCU = Body Control Unit which is just another ECU). I'm sure someone with better knowledge of this will be along shortly and give you a definitive answer.

I also believe both the Nanocom and Hawkeye can access the security system and reprogram it but I don't know of any other diagnostic tools that can.

Might be worth browsing the RAVE description and operation of the security and super locking.

Ok thanks again! I'll see what I can find.

Probably easier to reprogram the BCU/ECU than to reprogram my wife. I think that's burned in for good! She forgets what I want her to remember and remembers what I want her to forget.

C'est normal. I've just been told this evening I do sweet FA most of the time which ended in a blistering row especially when I work here 7 days a week doing hard physical graft. I see a divorce in the offing being I didn't ever calculate working this damned hard in retirement for little or no thanks.

Emigrating to the US (alone) seems a nearer possibility than ever right now

What about trying to pop the hood?? Doesn't the cable run behind the headlight? The light will pop out and might be worth a look.

Someone here has to know how to get the hood open. I'm sure cables have broken in the past.

I've never ran into that problem but, I'm betting paul grant could tell him how to get the hood open.

Move to New Orleans, plenty of French speaking replacements.

Don't forget to bring a few containers of diesel engines with you.
