Default TRIP PICS! from last seattle area trip

here is some pics of us rovering (and jeeping and dodge pick up trucking too). ENJOY!

here is the entrance - you gotta make it thru this water-obstacle just to leave the pavement.

here is the second mud hole - i know. a jeep in the pic but he wanted to go first...

here is Fred S. (you guys know him as xb70valkarye) going thru a mud hole.

me in same obstacle:

here is Fred doing some trailside modiications to his bumper

we played in LOTS of mud and water:

this dodge tried to keep up

we got dirty

did i mention water?

this is a drive shaft from one of the jeeps that tried to keep up

we are planning another trip to same area on PRESIDENTS DAY WEEKEND! JOIN US! check post on "trip notice - seattle area" on this forum for info.

i took over 300 pics of the last trip but i got outsmarted by the camera and only got 99 photos - my bad. unfornaturally - a bunch of the lost pics were of fred's rover. the pics you guys are seeing are only from the first hour or two of an all-day trip.

let me know what you think. - i got more pics on a cell phone that i need to post so stay tuned for more...

the dodge likes his tires just fine. they seemed to work a little better in the slop we were playing in than my A/Ts did. im currently shopping for some swampers that will fit my rover.

as to the snow - a couple of weeks ago we had plenty, but now we are back to normal weather for here. that is 45 and rainy.

how far is too far?

i could have avoided the soggy feet and carpet portion of the weekend by merely inspecting my door seals BEFORE i needed them rather than after. so unless you have seals as bad as mine were then you should be trouble free water wise.

How far is to far for Urban Panzer to drive?
Lets put it this way, if he took off from home on Monday he wouldnt be there until Presidents Day 2010.
He lives in London, England.
