Well, I was going to do a legitimate repair but I couldn't get a stitch started. And yes (before you ask) I tried quick clot first.

That will never work. You have to use gorilla tape over the bandaid or one flap will keep coming loose every time you accelerate then it won't hardly stick at all.

Replaced the brake master cylinder reservoir and seals which have been leaking for a few weeks. Nice and easy job. Jumped the ABS relay to bleed the system. If my jumper wires had been longer, I could have bled the brakes myself. The wife had no problem touching things together when I told her. Sure beats pumping the pedal!

'Tis the season! My wife loves Christmas decorations. So I cut up a string to make 3 short strings of 8. Wired them to a relay that uses the P light circuit as a switching signal. Zip tied it all to a wreath and hooked it all up for her.

So it was time to replace my drag link and track bar so I looked around for options. You basically have OEM, Britpart, All Makes and Terrafirma for replacement parts.
While the OEM is just too costly and only one end can be replaced, Britparts I just wouldn’t use, so it leaves TF and All Makes (same owner different specs).

Well the TF had a good sales pitch with replaceable tie rod/ballpoint ends, so the idea of being able to maintain the tie rod ends sounded great, so I sprung for the extra $100, I figured it would pay off in the long run.

Well the TF bars showed up and right off the bat I can tell these things are heavy duty. If you are rock climbing, correction rock plowing these are for you. So big and heavy that unless you are not going rock climbing there is no need to have something this big on your front end.

While they are big, strong & heavy and have replaceable tie rod/ ball joints. Only two of the four tie rod / ball joints have grease fittings. So you might be able to replace all four tie rod / ball joints, but you cannot maintain all four.

If your truck is going to be on the street most of the time or occasionally will see off road I would go with the All Makes and save the extra money for when they need to be replaced in another 100k miles. If you want to go crashing off rock and still be able to drive home then Terrafima bars is the way to go.
