What did you do with your DII today?

If you need to know what the code is, should be a P0304. The last number goes with the cylinder. P0305=5, P0308=8, etc. Or did you mean chase down the cause? The list is usually check plug, wire cap secure, wire bad, ignition coil dirty, faulty (usually not just one terminal goes bad), clogged/messed up fuel injector, air leak past the MAF, etc.

Replaced the bulbs in the HVAC panel because the driver-side temperature control has been dead since I bought the truck. Somewhat fixed the drink tray by putting the spring back to where it is supposed to be. Installed windshield heater switch. Just need the heated windshield, now. New, genuine all-weather floormats to replace the flimsy aftermarket set from the previous owner(s).

three amigos fix
Just wanted to throw this in the mix: after having an abs sensor replaced as well as all the wiring and everything leading up to it, Los Tres Amigos returned immediately and then again after the dealer's idea was to clean it all up again. At that point my service coordinator's only idea was to replace the modulator. Ultimately, once they called to ask if I was satisfied and I said I wasn't really because I had spent about a grand and the problem hadn't been solved, the dealer asked to take the car in and work it all out themselves, which obviously was a bit of a surprise to me. So, they did, kept it for two days and ultimately replaced a wheel hub. I was skeptical to say the least that this would solve the problem. But I have had it back for a couple of weeks now and my three new best friends have not come back on since. Anyway, in the ongoing 'what have you done today with your Disco2' and also the Amigos narrative, it could also be a wheel hub........ just so we know!

I got new shoes for my Disco today and tested them out. 265/75/16 BFG AT's. I have a 2" lift Terra Firma in the front and air bag spacers in the rear. Did you know that they will fit even with a blown air bag? Yah, I didn't either until mine blew on the last climb out of dry creek in the back 40. I hit the bottom of the climb hard cuz I had to get out (wifey had dinner plans for me I had two buddies with me and I heard and felt it blow but I kept going. Made it up and out and rode low and slow all the way home riding on the frame. But no rubbing at all with or without air bags. And made it home in time for dinner. Just another day. Now I'm going to google replacement airbags
