WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
|
Looking at the BG website, they only show a new car dealer locally as having any, but we have several parts vendors here.

RE: WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
I ordered it from here. http://www.autobahnpower.com/products.asp?recnumber=542
I also ordered a few bottles of the redline fuel system cleaner. I use it every fill up.

RE: WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
You are waisting your money using Red Line with every tank full, once evey 4 to 6 tank fulls is more then enough.
As for the 44K, I have found it at many small high end auto repair shops as well as at Napa.

Mike,
How often do you recommend running the BG 44k? Every 4 to 6 tanks?
thanks

RE: WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
The BG 44k is good for 15k miles. Thanks for the advice Mike. I'll cut down a bit and save some $$$.

RE: WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
Before you go ahead and start spending away, there's a limit to what any of those products will do. I decided that this product was gonna work!!!! So to make sure it would, I put 1 can at a fill-up, and then another at the next. Haven't done a thing, zip, nada, nothing at all. I thought that 2 cans had to do something.....It did in making me $50 poorer. So unless you got an old old car with very high mileage and that its never been cleaned, just don't put your expectations too high.

RE: WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
I gotta say, i got some a couple weeks ago and it did nada for me. The way some of these guys were raving, i guess i was expecting too much. But i guess it's a good thing if i didn't notice anything different,.. means the rover was doing just fine with out the cleaner

RE: WHERE TO GET BG 44K FUEL ADDITIVE/CLEANER
If your injectors are clean, then the fuel additive will not produce any results that you can notice. The problem is, how can one tell in advance? One can't. It is insurance to use a can once in a while. An induction cleaning with a product like Seafoam can often produce more discernable immediate results.
