Is yours a good year or a bad year?

Is yours a good year or a bad year?
I have owned my D1 since new, and with one exception, it has been virtually bulletproof. I know this is not the case for everyone, and in general Land Rover, seems to have good years for a model and bad years for a model. In the case of the Discovery it seemed to follow a pattern of every other year for a while. I am curious if there is any substance to what I believe, and would appreciate your participation in a little poll. I'd simply like to know the model year, mileage, your opinion as to whether your is a good year or a bad year, and what significant issues you've experienced. Here's mine:
'97, 85K, Good Year, chassis ground issue (not terribly expensive, but hard to find)

So far so good for me...2004 SE7 with 50K on it.
Couple of minor cosmetic issues, butno electrical or mechinal *knocks on wood* problems yet.
Doesn't hurt either that I paid a little extra when I bought it a year a ago as a Land Rover certified vehicle with bumper to bumper coverage up to 75K...with my luck everything'll go to hell in a handbasket when I hit 76K

Very happy with my 2003 Disco.
It's passing 99,000 miles and has been relatively trouble free.Still getting about 16-17mpg and running very strong. My only (non maintenance type) expences have been associated with windows and doors. Can't complain.
The 2003 doesn't have Diff lock :-( butthat feature can be adapted.

I just sold my 96 D1 with 165k on it.Don't think it had any major engine drivtrain issues. Always ran like a champ, plenty of poop. Woes include mostly elec things like windows .
Bought a 98 D1 last month with113k hoping to have the same satifaction with a few less miles on it.

i myself have a 97 with 163+k miles and haven't really had too many problems with it...
o2 sensors
plug wires
plugs
hoses
some clicking due to oil filters
fuel pump
essentially regular upkeep items; ac is cold, heat is hot, radio works... some minor rust issues, but thats kinda common for the area
all and all, a really solid car and it still runs great

I'm lovin my 04 SE 43,000 miles. No issues to report so far. I did hit totally mess up one of the running boards with a rock shortly after I got the vehicle at 22,000 miles. I should have taken the running boards off earlier and sold them, now I only have one good one. Can't wait to get the bull bar winch and OME lift. Guess I better find some new wheels too. When I'm ready for the new equipment I'll be looking for some input.
BTW Anyone in the Albuquerque area?
Cheers,
Stuart
