Angry 1996 Discovery 4.0 engine Parts

I need to find anyone that may have a single piston and rings out of a 4.0 LR engine. I will pay any shipping and cost. One of the injectors on my 1996 Land Rover was not functioning correctly and a portion of the piston side is melted from over heating. I have the engine torn down. I also have to have the heads done because they are warpped.

Anybody that may have some spare parts, please let me know. They don't just sell one piston, I would need to buy a full set of 8 and the full set of Rings for the engine even though I only need one.

I wouldn't advise putting some ones old, used piston and ring set in the cylinder. You would be better off with a new ring set at least along with bearings.

Wink

Anyway, I don't have the set of piston as you required but, my suggestion is you can take the pistons of working condition but you should change your piston rings with new sets only, otherwise they will mismatch the liner track and damage/leakage may occurs.
