Default "...Back-Off...Keep your distance! "

Hello Disco Mike...Hello All;

Its been a year since I've had a valve job done on my '96 Disco (196k today) !
Changed over to Bosch Fuel Injectors...WOW, what a difference...went from 15 MPG (after the valve-job), to just under 18MPG (YES, I did change over to Magnacor 8mm wires & NGK Spark Plugs) !

About a 6/8 weeks ago, some"Bone-Head" (young girl "Texting"), rear-ended me ! I was stoped at a Red Traffic Light, she never applied her brakes(told the Police Officer,"...I was just 'Texting' my "BFF")! I never looked-up and saw him stoped at that Red Light ! She told the Police Officer that she was going about 40 " + " in a residential area !

Now, while waiting for Her Insurance Company...I have NO Dash Lights (at night), and NO brake lights (except, the "third" up-high brake light), and only one (Driver's side), turn light (blinker). On the front of my truck, only one 'parking/running' head light works (NOT the head light...), the small light inside/under the head light. My rear bumber is scratched, and bent...NOT damaged (Like one would think...), one rear light (mounted inside the bumber is cracked, and does NOT work !

My Insurance Company told me that Her Insurance will 'allow' 1 to 2 hrs. for an Auto-Electrical Inspections...? ! ? What the 'Heck' ! I have Electrical Lightings Issuses ! ? !

I want it ' FIXED' ! My Insurance Company has decided to SUE...Because Her Insurance Company is NOT willing to accept Liability ! Instead of just fixing my truck, they want to aruge the fact the She might NOT be at fault ! ? !

It looks like I will come out so much more ahead in this situation ! "Damn" right when I was getting a 'handle' on my truck !

More/Later...Donald (In San Marcos, CA)

it is a sad world. She basically admitted to fault and so the insurance company should hands down pay for everything.
