Default IAT Sensor, the Sequel

Hi. I'm trying to locate the IAT sensor (Intake Air Temperature Sensor) on a 1997 4.0 V8 Discovvery. It's the sensor that determines the temp of the air to regulate the lean-ness of the fuel mixture for the injectors. Anyone know where it is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The sensor is located upstream of your Mass Flow Sensor in the toplid of the air cleaner element housing.

Default RE: IAT Sensor, the Sequel

On the subject of IAT Sensors - I have a 2004 Discovery (so, Bosch components). I'm trying to locate the IAT Sensor wires which I believe is combined with the MAF Sensor which has a five wire plug. Can anyone tell me which color wire is for the IAT signal? I'm playing with installing Next Level Performance's TRIPHASE box and it taps off of the IAT Sensor. Thanks in advance.
