Default Tune resistor Location/mod

Hi guys,

So

I've done some "Modifications" to my exhaust and im looking into changing my tune resistor. What the resistor does is change the signal to the ECM, identifying Cats or No cats.

I however cannot find my tune resistor, ive got a 1995 RRC "Soft Dash".

Anyone know where the resistor might be? its 2 white wires coming out of a blue plug, they double back into the plug going through a small resistor, usually encased in a yellow silicone/ clear plasitc casing.

I believe/ research shows that its on the passenger side under the glove box near the ECM or under the front passenger seat.

Ill get into performance stuff on a later post once I find the resistor.

NAS vehicles do not have a tune resistor. Maybe the very early 14cu ones, but 95 does not.

The chip in the computer has a byte that when set to a certain value ignores input from the pins dedicated for the tune resistor and instead uses the NAS configuration table. This is how NAS vehicles were configured. So if you were to add a tune resistor you would also have to reprogram the chip to enable it.
