Hello mods,

I'd like to suggest that we create a section under the Range Rover forum or the land rover forum for those looking for and posting info on the Range Rover Sport models.. I'd also suggest that this forum be split into two child forums to reflect the Ranger Rovers that are 2009 and under as they are very different from the 2010 and up models. I honestly think this would prevent a lot of repeat threads and help make the search function much more efficient. It may also bring a lot more traffic to the site as, many of the range rover forums do not separate these models with the argument that the 2005-2013 models are all the same when in fact we all know they are not. different engines, specs, features.

I humbly call upon the powers that be to consider this and either way let us know what you think. If this means sifting through and migrating a lot of threads then I'd be more than happy to help

you will have to start your post with RRS 2010 and up, just like the p-38 & RRC people have to do.
The amount of space used by the site is controlled by the mother ship not the mods. They (tms) decided that a discovery sport section was more important than breaking up the RR section.

 

Breaking up this section is exactly what the forum needs to attract more traffic. There's gonna be a lot of new 2010+ owners joining and the fact is; this separation is not just needed but it's vital. Otherwise they will go elsewhere. Kind of ridiculous to lump a model into one huge category just because the name on the front of the car says "Range Rover" when there is a clear difference in generations.
