Question 2001 Freelander 1
We have a 2001 freelander 1, it has the 2litre BMW TD engine, and still has the stock transmission. It was in storage for 7 years so only has 66 000km on the clock. Recently my dad has been looking at buying me a Defender as a first car, because people say the Freelander keeps breaking down.

I want to know, what goes wrong on them, and about how much does it cost?

what are you asking what are common problems with the Freelander?

Yes, the common problems with the 6 speed manual transmission and the 2litre diesel engine.
