Deisel or petro? Petro 2.5 v 6 is under the main cover in center of motor. If you gonna change it then do the relocation kit they sell. Then its alot easier cause it would be up front

Default Thermostat housing

My 2.5 V6 gas engine isn't pumping out the heat into the interior and it's kinda cold here! I think it might be the thermostat, where might I find it, or could it be another issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Does the engine temp gauge come up to normal? (middle of the gauge) If so, then the thermostat is OK and the coolant is warm enough to heat up the interior. There is a bleed valve under the hood on the upper hose before it enters the interior of the car. It may be that you have an air lock. If the engine is warming up OK, try opening the bleed screw until coolant comes out.
