Unhappy Bluetooth

I recently bought a nearly new Freelander 2 HSE LHD in the UK and it seems to have specifications somewhere between the UK spec and the export spec.

One of the differences is the absence of the bluetooth phone system which is standard in the UK spec. I seem to have the Alpine premium surround sound system but with only 9 speakers (unless I just haven't found the other 5 which are usually standard in the UK with this unit). There is also a button for the Digital Audio (DAB), but it doesn't work and there is no headset module for the rear passangers. I can live without most of this as I have only 2 ears and the difference between 9 speakers and 14 speakers seems to be negligible and the vehicle didn't come with rear passengers so i'm not too bothered about the headset system either and as I live in the mountains of Tuscany there is no Digital Radio network, so this is of no importance, but I'm peeved about not having the bluetooth phone hookup especially as the local poice have finally been issued a vehicle and are starting to get out and about and check for people using their phones whilst driving (it seems that public bus drivers are not included in their list of potential law breakers though).

As I am not a local bus driver I wonder if anyone knows if the bluetooth package that would have been supplied as standard integrated with the Alpine audio system, the navigation system and the steering wheel can be supplied and installed as an accesssory as, whilst trawling the internet, I haven't managed to find anything which even touches on the subject.

talk to the dealer, they have accessory systems that work but are very expensive and require programming.
