Default Bought a 2003 Freelander

I found me a 2003 Red Freelander with only 46,000 miles on it and its in fantastic condition. I know there are some electrical problems with the LR's but for the price I paid, I am willing to take a chance.

What I am looking for are people who love their Rovers to reply and show me the good experiences instead of some of the negativeness I find on the net.

I figured a Rover forum was a good place to see if others like this little bundles of joy as I do.

Maybe one day I will buy an LR4

Welcome, the free download below includes service manuals on the Freelander. It has so much electronics would advise new battery, it really needs one in tip top shape.

Due a coolant flush on it and throw some dye it to see where all the leaks will be coming from.

Don't let it overheat or else its a new engine.

Whatever anyone says one these boards, 1471,1472 1470 are false codes and don't need the parts to fix the check engine light.
