Exclamation freelander problems

had a bad oil leak, engine is knocking now, can it be repaired? should i repair it? 2004 freelander... how much does a repair like this cost?

new engine and new car.

Sorry, thems throwaway engines. And don't bother with a used one, that will likely leak coolant internally. Used aren't cheap. roughly the price of the car.
