Second hand blowers are cheap, and take about 5 minutes to install. Had to do mine this weekend. Three screws, pull it out, put the new one in. Easy fix.

Easy, no reason being is the fan goes because of a coolant leak in the heater core. if their is coolant on the fan then you need to pull the dash board and install a new heater core and fan.

My appologies to all,

My heater core had already been fixed, and the motor was all that remained to complete the job. As a leak hadn't been mentioned by Rabid, I assumed this issue had already been addressed in his vehicle as well. Of course, a leaky heater would need to be corrected before replacing the motor. Fix the cause, not the symptom, right?

Default fan blower

so i got the fan working better than ever ...3 days no problems

then i was crossing the williamsburg bridge stuck in traffic and i hear the fan slowing down and eventually stopping ..all speeds for about 30 minutes ..all fuses ok

is the fan over heating / over working

i am in NYC its 95 degrees and most of my driving is bumper to bumper 20 miles an hour ?
