New Freelander 2 13 Clunk on starting off
Hi folks,
I wondered if any FL2 experts know whether a noise my brand new 2013 Freelander 2 makes is "normal".
When initially accelerating and moving through 2nd gear there is an audible clunk that is also felt as a vibration through the accelerator. This only happens when starting off and can only be replicated by stopping, switching off the engine and starting again. As the noise is fairly consistent and does not appear during the rest of the trip (and further moves through the transmission) I'm assuming this is something normal, but it would be interesting to know what causes it. It is an odd (though subtle) sound.
Cheers for any useful insights.
