Post 04 Range Coolant Leak-Please Help if you can!

Ok, you tell me what you think...I just returned from the dealership(for diff recall) and there is a huge coolant leak coming from the lower hose running to the radiator. It actually apears to be running from the temperature sensor that plugs into that hose from the top. I pulled the temp sensor and replaced the oring and leak got worse. And what I am seeing is that the sensor actually has some loosness when clicked in. My question is should I remove and replace the sensor? Is this a common problem with this model? are there any temporary remedies to this(ie. loctite or some kind of sealant)?
But when I start the engine you can see the coolant runs directly off both sides of sensor where it clicks in to place. Please help, any advise would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Hey..
That sensor is replacable and comes with the proper o-ring. Is the lower hose fitting cracked maybe by a freeze? Check your radiator as well, known to leak in that area.

It's recommended to replace all those hoses ( including heater hoses ), thermostat, and coolant reservior after 4 years or 40k miles. Cheap insurance for the motor. If you should suddenly loose coolant DO NOT OVERHEAT THAT MOTOR!
