Unhappy 2003 D2 Bank 1 catalyctic red on idle...

Hi there!!! I took my D2 off road the other day and i went into a deep water hole, the disco float for about a min, traction control and cdl got me out, snorkel work fine...... Ok, I got out of there drove my disco back home but I notice a litle missfire and stop the LR got out and open the hood and saw sparks all over the place.. so I knew it was time for a new ignition wires set... So i took the intake out and order my set of new wires right.... Ok today I put everything back crank the engine and plug my obd2 scaner to get the live data... Everything was fine, all 8 cylinders fire up perfect but i notice the engine starter to runn roff and getting worst.. temp was under 190F so i get under the LR and notice the catalyctic converter on bank 1 was red, on idle speed..... So I know this cats are made of titanium. Cut be that they got clug? and the ecu is trying to adjust the idle and it just can't keep up with clug cat???? I never seen a disco 2 with a bad catalytic..... Also i need to point that im not getting any codes at all.....At first i was thinking that it was the mass sensor dirty and clean it up and nothing.......

It is getting to much raw fuel dumped into it and it is getting to hot because it is burning the raw fuel.
Either your turn up was bad, or something else is causing it to run to rich.
Could be a number of things, plugs gapped wrong, bad wires, bad O2 sensors, bad/dirty MAF, etc.

Oh ok ok..... I found what the problem was... trotle position sensor was plug in but not all the way, I did this very late at night and I was very tired, so when I doble check everything the next day I found this plug not all the way conected.... The bad thing was that I clean the mass sensor like twice thinking that that was the problem, well I end up messing the mass sensor LOL... I get a new one tomorrow =) LOL... Anyways I knew that cleaning the mass sensor is a 50% chances of ruin it so... It's all good!!!!!! Thanks anyways Spike!!!
