Disco II door locks

Default Disco II door locks
I have two door locks that will not work with either the key fob or the unlock/lock switch on the dash. Anyone had this problem, how was it repaired?

First time poster and I bet you haven't done a search on this or any other Rover site about this ever so common problem. Do a search and if you still have a specific problem get back to us.

I looked at other sites and thought this the better one. Guess my question was to basic for the forum.

Default Same problem
I have the same prob - 2 of my doors dont work with the key ...
Any help would be appreciated

I have someone checking into the problem and hope to have a fix soon. Will relay the info to you when the problem is solved,

So, what are you looking into, the actuators have failed, now the question is to fix or not fix, to buy new or used parts and save money and will you replace them or pay someone????

I'll buy new parts and replace them myself. Just wanted to know what I was getting into.

I have encountered the same problem, but with all 3 passenger doors. I have bought used parts and will replace myself. Hope it works
