rough idle and erratic idle
i have a 96 disco se7 with about 146k on it its a solid *** truck and i drive it everyday about 20 miles to school. i have had only a few problems so far that i have solved myself one being the alternator the other being a faulty lower radiator hose. but ever since i got the truck it has had a high idle problem i was told it was the tps so i bought a used one and replaced it still a high or intermittent high idle when warmed up. i live in michigan so its cold out when i start it up it runs roughly and at about 1000 rpms only to rise up to 2000 once the truck is warmed up. i have read that it could the idle air control valve. i also have had the codes read and it threw a code saying something about fuel air mixture and idle air control, need help because its wearing hard on my brakes and my wallet as the gas mileage is surely not at its peak. thanks in advance for the help

here are the all the codes i got maybe you can help with the other problems i am having.
p1509- vehicle speed idle speed control
p1138- manufacturer control fuel air metering
p0152- o2 sensor (bank 2 sensor 1)
p1316- manufacturer control ignition system or misfire
p0420 catalyst efficiency below threshold (bank 1)
p0340- camshaft position A- Bank 1
these are all the codes any possible help?? kind of nervous about the camshaft sensor $$$$ thanks in advance

i think it is the throttle position sensor that is dirty or shorting and that can cause the other codes to be thrown. start there by inspecting the TPS and then clear the codes and come back if you throw more codes in case you will have to check the CPS it is right above where the oil pan meets the bottom of the block. Just above that front corner you will see the CPS It has a cover over it.

high idle could be a vacuum leak from the pcv hoses. camshaft sensor could be either a camshaft sensor or a crankshaft as the camshaft sensor uses the crankshaft signal as a guide. Also look at the ecu to make sure there is no water intrusion into the connector at the ecu for the camshaft. but most likely its the crankshaft or camshaft sensor. plus you will need an oxygen sensor or two.
