Default instructions for changing thermostat

Hello all, I am new to the forum and a new owner of a 2002 Land Rover Discovery. I am having trouble with my truck overheating and have been told that I need a new thermostat. While I'm no mechanic, I would like to try to do this myself. Can anyone point me to some instructions/diagrams on how to accomplish this?

Sounds like you need some help, send me your number and I'll call you cause yes, you may need a t/stat but there are lots of other things that will over heat you.
How hot does it get, on the gauge and be specific?

overheating is caused by alot of problems don't install one unless the vehicle has been looked over for leaks. you could have alot of issues and a thermostat won't do squat.
