Question turbo defender puma 2007

Guys,

Looking for some help. have a defender puma and ive been told the turbo needs to be replaced...I now need to get at the turbo to get the number off it to see if i can use a transit turbo...can anyone tell me how to do this and if i can use a transit turbo.... thanks in advance

I think you will need to remove the turbo before you can find the number on it, it is probably on the back side where it cant be seen.
The Puma is a Ford engine, the Transit is a Ford...

Being from the US I cannot tell you for 100% that the Transit turbo will work.
My question would be why did the turbo fail so soon?
How many miles on the Defender?

You should be able to call a ford dealership and find out. Ask what make and model the two turbos are, then check the manufacturers website for detailed specs.
