Default What does TOPIx get me?

I just came into possession of a 2003 Defender. It needs lots of LTC. My research got me to the TOPIx site. I see that I can pay for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week of access to maintenance manuals, diagrams etc. Are these things downloadable for retrieving and viewing later as you need them or can they only be viewed on line for the period that is paid for? I spent 45 minutes at the carwash today just trying to get years of grime off of it.

I have no idea what Topix is, but the RAVE manual is a free download that you will have forever and always and it is the same repair manual the dealer uses.
Just do a search for it on the forum.

TOPIx is the Rover download service, but it is a pay as you go, will have newer models not in the RAVE. See TOPIx - TOPIx# It appears you can save it as a group of pdf files. Things like owners manual are free.

I went to TOPIx and downloaded the owners manual for free.
On the landroverresource site, I downloaded the workshop manual.
Lots of good information to get me started.

Thanks for the pointers.

I don't believe the Rave has the Defender information any longer, but here is a site that will help you, pdf Land Rover Manuals | Landroverweb.com
