ok, listen...the link for more cheap headers for RRC,D1,D2 IS IN SUMMITRACING.COM . NOW THE HEADER THAT THEY SELL IS FOR RANGE ROVER CLASSIC WITH STEERING WHEEL ONTHE RIGHT, NO MATER FOR THIS IS THE SAME...THING OK.

NOW THE PRICE IS LIKE $187 BUT IS THE MORE CHEAP THE ONLY YOU NEED TO DO IS CUT THE TREATH FOR O2 AND WELDER IN ANOTHER TUBE FOR COMPLETY YOUR SYSTEM EXHAUST. TRY THE USE THE ORIGINAL METAL GASKET ANDWHEN YOU FIT IN YOUR D1 THE RIGHT SIDE YOU NEED PUT FOR THE BOTTOM IN UP IF YOU NO UNDERSTANDING SORRY FOR YOU....

i think he's trying to say you can use D1 header but you have to have to 02 sensor bungs need to replaced with the correct size for a DII, but it's hard to decipher.

I guess, who knows. Or you could do it right and order the ones I linked to to begin with. I don't even really know why there is still debate in this thread after the question was answered long ago.

For the friend that wanna headers for your d2 i reconmend go to junk and buy the headers exhaust from p38 4.6 and put in your engine is the same s...thing and as it.

I can say this on the subject after today.
As far as the D2 goes-
Driver side the brake master cylinder and booster need to be moved out of the way to get the Hedman in. As well as the heat shield around them.

Passenger side the heat shield around the starter needs to be removed.

I cut the old exhaust out in pieces so I was able to get everything out easily and slid out of the hangers as well.

Negative, absolutely not required during installation of those headers.
