Center Dash Speaker Doesn't Work?
Hi folks, just bought a pre-owned 2010 LR2 HSE leaseback for $28k + $2k interest for taking 2 years to pay it off (no downpayment). It's in near perfect condition and I am ecstatic coming from an '03 Honda Accord. It has the cold climate package, Bluetooth & Sat Radio, but not navigation. It didn't go into service until January 2011 so it is still under warranty for 9 months or until I hit 80,000km.
Just had one question about the sound system. I know there was an option for a simulated Dolby Pro Logic IIx 7.1 setup, but I think I just have the standard Alpine stereo, nothing plays out of the center speaker in the dash...or at least I assumed that was a speaker? Or if I have the standard audio system is that just a grill with nothing underneath?
Was also wondering what people are getting for mileage in these. Being in Canada we go by L/100km but I've always used MPG myself. The US rating for the LR2 is an abysmal 22 MPG, but the Canadian rating is 26 MPG (highway). I find I'm getting about 750km to a tank (70L) which is 25.2MPG going 110KPH or slightly below (the speed limit here). I know even going another 10KPH would probably hamper the mileage, they say a 20% decreas, and I did experience that in my Honda Car. I'm also using 91-94 octane fuel, I'm going to try my best to always fill up at the same place though. I assume Shell V-Power is probably the best fuel because it doesn't contain any ethanol (91 octane).
My front brakes are squeaking, although the place I bought it from said they were at 50%. There is no pulsating when slowing down at any speed though, everything is super smooth. I've washed the car twice and it persists. Should I take it to the dealer?
Thanks!
