HELP!! 2010 LR2 Wont Crank
Hello All,
I have a LR2 that will not crank. Everything was working fine, but stopped at a store and now it will not crank at all. The key fob will go in the slot, but when you push the button only the dash lights come on and the starter will not even try to turn. The battery check out as having a full charge. I think it may have something to do with the anti theft feature?
Any suggestions on what to do??
Thanks in advance

When you press the start button(with brake applied, key inserted) does the illumination on the Start Control Unit(where the key goes) dim?
If so, the vehicle is granting the crank request, and most likely issue would be the starter itself. I would try starting it several times, the starter might catch, and get you going, but replace soon, as it might start working for a while if it does catch.
If it doesn't dim, the crank request is not being granted, and to start, I would shift the vehicle from park to drive, and back, and retry.
