Default Link

Here is a link to the Topix at Land Rover. Not sure if it will come up or if you need to register. If you go into the topix, look for Owner, Accessory Fitting Instructions, ICE/Technology, then select the first topic for the audio connectivity module install. This shows the steps to get the glove box released. Step 4 is the shock release, then step 5 it to get the bumpers to release. After then, box just pulls away from teh hindge area. Sounds more complicated than it is. Second link is to the Topix site if you have to register.

DeathWind,

Thanks - I don't get step # 4 - it is too late now to go and look, so I will look at the glove box tomorrow - it is probably very simple as I don't even see any screws that have to be removed.

Default No screws

It is at the top right, back when you open the glove box. You just push it to the right and it will release from the post it's attached to (it's a shock to slow the decent of box). That will allow the box to fall more forward. It will then rest against the bumpers. They are a little tricky, but you have to get them past the opening. Once that is done, just pull forward to release the "hinges." No screws or tools required to remove anything. The shock is a bit of a pain to get back in place, but didn't take more than couple minutes to put it all back together.
