Default Question about tires...or Tyres if you are from across the pond.

How many miles have you driven on your tires from the factory? I have 26k and I think it's about time to replace. That seems low to me.

Any advice on new tires, any to avoid or use? I'm in Texas and we don't do any off-roading, it's almost all highway.

I appreciate any advice

just bought 4 new tires on my LR2 after only 16800 miles on continental trash. Got some bigger 155/55 more aggressive tires for towing and off-roading. the tires that came on it were crapola!!!!!

Yeah I agree that the tires that came with the truck were pretty bad. I have 12,000 kilometres on it right now, and have been through 1.5 winters. I find the traction terrible, and even looking at the treads makes me wonder how good these Continentals are.

I would suggest anything else. I wouldn't mind suggestions too!!! I'll be needing some new tires, whether these are due to be replaced or not!

I'm using only Yokohamas on my Mitsubishi Eclipse(different kind - YK420) and VERY satisfied. First set that I've got last me for more than 50k miles, now I'm on the second one.
Dunno about this particular model but YK is just very nice.

I still have my original Good Year made in Germany and 50k+ already. Still good tread left and looking around for set of tires soon probably Silent Armor. All street no off road use.
