Default Trip, Range, MPG etc display

My trip, range, mpg, etc display occasionally resets on its own when I start the LR2. An amber light near the fuel gauge display flashes twice when this happens. Brought it back to the dealer and they ordered a new part (I guess the item that reads the key fob in the dashboard). They had it for 3 1/2 days and the problem has started again.

They informed me that a TSB was issued last week about this problem. So I will bring it back in again.

Anyone know about this TSB and what it says?

Basically, the TSB's are service bulletins that alert the dealers when a problem comes to Land Rover's attention. Since not all LR2's are experiencing this, the TSB probably just tells dealers about the problem, and the necessary parts to order to fix it.

Keep in mind, that until the dealers receive the TSB, they may be unclear as to what is causing the problem, since everything is electronic. I've only actually read one TSB and there wasn't much to it. Just a brief history of the problem, and the instructions on how to deal with it.

I am familiar with the meaning of a TSB.

My query is what the current TSB states. Let me know if you know and let me know what it states.

Just ask your dealer to show it to you. Simple. I'm not sure why the wording of a TSB would be of any interest. In our case, all we care about is to make sure the car functions correctly. But that's just us! :-)

Had it in for service and a second try to fix the reset problem. They have a few more TSB's on the subject requiring reprogramming.

Hopefully, the problem is fixed and this thread is dead.
