Default Aux. input in center console

Working on a 2005 LR3, can anyone help me find the aux. input on the center console? Any directions or pictures on how to get to it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are sitting in the back seat, look on the back of the center console towards the floor, between the heated seat buttons is a cover, flip it up and you will find a 12V power port and the Aux input. Hope this helps.

When I plug into this I can control an Ipod/Iphone?? For some reason I thought there was a Aux. input behind the raido somewhere?? I'm just looking for a good spot to hook up an Iphone without going through all of the hassle. Any ideas would be appreciated. I have a phone button on the radio I just have no idea how to hook something up to it.

No you can't control anything with this input. It's just an audio input.
That button will work if your phone is connected via blue-tooth.

I have a 6ft aux cable for my iphone audio and it's connected through blue-tooth. Other than that I do not know of a way to hook your iPhone to the HED unit controls.

Rover does sell an iPod/iPhone/USB adapter that allows you to control the device though the radio controls, but it is year specific and not sure it is for the 2005. I've also been told that it is not the greatest accessory in the world. I've seen them on eBay a few times.
