Hi guys. I've had my 2005 LR3 for about a year now and have had no issue with it so far. Bought it at 46k miles and has 64k on it now. I got the (typical?) hvac door noise for the last few months and now it seems to have failed for the most part. It made a pretty good noise when you turned off the air as a (blend?) door closed. Now the blower motor is working fine, but it seems that door is stuck or barely opening.

I've replaced blend door actuators in other cars before like my wife's BMW and a previous explorer and grand cherokee.

My question is this- are there two blend door actuators on the LR3? One to switch hot and cold and one to close the vents when you turn off the air? The hot/cold seems to be working, but the door to open all the vents seems to be stuck mostly closed. I'm trying to figure out which parts I need to buy and how best to go about replacing them.
