Buying LR3 what do I need to know and ask?

Worried about suspension air bag leakage, how do I know if they need to be replaced?
Is there a compressor upgrade that needs to be done before buying a used 2006 LR3 from a dealer? I live in arizona and it's very dry, I am not hardcore offroader but I will be using it from time to time. How many miles is the v8 good for? Please give me any other info you think I may need before buying used lr3 2006 up to 2008. Ant info will help thank you very much..
