Default EGR blanking kit

Just browsing the web and i came across a kit to remove the EGR
Accessories Catalogue - Britpart - The Quality Parts for Land Rovers

Wondering if anybody has tried anything like this before?

From what I understand, this is something we don't need to worry about in the US. This fault is specific to the TDv6 - it does not apply to the V8 petrol.

There is a EGR valve on the V8 it is located in the middle of the 'V' in the front of the engine.

That is only for the Diesel do not try this on your V8. There are no known improvements for the LR3 for mileage/performance aside from Air Intake, etc. that doesn't make much sense to put on.
