Default engine noise growl at idle and driving

I have a growl coming from the front of motor and I thought it might be the belt took it off and still making noise. It will be there and then it will disappear like that really weird. Can anybody help with this problem.

My A/C does that too, it's very noticeable when it's cold out. Turn you A/C on and off and check if that’s it..
