I need to replace the bushings on the front end of my '06. You can hear them rattle something awful. Is this something that has to be done by a dealer? If not, anyone know a good place in BR to take it to?
Thanks,
kevin

It can be done yourself depending on availability of tools, a workspace and your technical skills. In order to suggest a shop to take it too, you would need to mention where you are.

Yes, that would have been helpful, wouldn't it? I thought i had mentioned Baton Rouge in the title, which is why i just said "BR" in the post. Clearly, i wasn't paying any attention. I'm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Thanks,
kevin

If you have lower wishbone on mind be prepared that sometimes bolts are so stuck inside the bush that has to be cut off
so removing the wishbone from the car might be the most difficult pat of the job
if you want to try and do it yourself or pay someone first mark the bolts on both sides where they sit with white paint and then loosen the nuts and make sure they spin freely. in your area its possible they can. if not you have to buy a sawzall to cut them out. that is the only way.

Here are a couple of suggestions, seeing as nobody from the area has responded. I am not endorsing any of these folks, I don't have any direct experience. I suggest you start by letting your fingers do the walking, and call around. If you like the attitude on the phone dig deeper, if not, move on. A good independent shop will be willing to try anything .
It helps if you have done your research, ie: check out the how to on the disco site, figure out which parts you need, order them in, or the shop will end up going to the dealer and overpaying. Plan it out, so they shop is prepared.
These guys are a lucky8 affiliated shop.
