LR3 Air Compressor Conversion??

LR3 Air Compressor Conversion??
I am doing the Air to Coil Conversion on my LR3 and was wondering if anyone has
converted there air compressor into a functioning source of air for tires or anything else.
I want to install a toggle switch setup for the compressor power and run off the original air tank.
I haven't found anything yet on here so figured Id ask.
Thanks

The question has been asked before and the general consensus was that the EAS compressor is really a high pressure, low volume compressor with a relatively low duty cycle. Air compressors for inflating tires are high volume, low pressure, high duty cycle compressors. So... can you? Yes. Would it work well? Probably not... Even if you used the EAS reservoir, I think it would be a very slow process to inflate all 4 tires with the EAS compressor.
I'm sure others here would be very interested to learn the outcome if you did it though.

It does seem like a good re-purposing though. I'm assuming you aren't really an off-roader so your new use for the compressor would be less to air-up after a trail run but maybe to inflate a flat in the one-off circumstance of having a low/flat tire. To me that would be worthwhile.
I have a separate air compressor mounted in the rear. Super convenient.
